Why do his words still unsettle hearts, heal wounds, and call people to change—two thousand years later?
Why do we still talk about him at all?
Surely if Jesus were just a man, his memory would have faded long ago, like so many others.
Yet his name endures, his teachings shape lives, and his presence has been felt across cultures over the centuries since he walked this earth.
How did a carpenter from Nazareth speak with such authority that storms obeyed him, the broken were restored, sinners found hope, and the dead were raised?
How did he live without sin, love without limits, and forgive even those who crucified him?
And how could a crucified man rise again, leaving an empty tomb and a living faith that refuses to die?
They point to the truth the Bible proclaims: Jesus is not only a teacher or prophet, he is the Son of God. God stepped into our world, not to observe us from a distance, but to walk among us, suffer for us, and save us.
Jesus had to come.
We are made for love and purpose, yet marked by brokenness, guilt, and shame. We cannot heal ourselves. Jesus does what we cannot. On the cross, he carries our sin. In his resurrection, he defeats death. In his life, he reveals the heart of God which is full of grace, truth, and mercy.
Jesus is not merely a figure of history; he is alive and personal. He speaks, he invites, and he transforms.
To see how the Bible reveals him as the Son of God, and to listen to what he has to say to you. Why Jesus? Because in him, hope has a name, and new life is offered to all.
